Capture the Moment Selfie Station Limited Warranty

R&D Designs LLC proudly stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of every Capture the Moment Selfie Station.

Warranty Coverage

Subject to the terms and exclusions below, R&D Designs LLC provides the original purchaser with the following limited warranty:

Three-Year Structural Warranty

The steel frame, base, and welded structural components of the Capture the Moment Selfie Station are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the original purchase date.

One-Year Component and Finish Warranty

The following components are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original purchase date:

• Powder-coated finish

• Universal phone or device holder

• Mounting hardware supplied by R&D Designs LLC

• Caster wheels, brakes, ground stakes, and other accessories

• Custom signs and graphics produced by R&D Designs LLC

This warranty applies to Capture the Moment Permanent and Portable Selfie Stations purchased directly from R&D Designs LLC or an authorized seller.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal, intended use, including:

• Failure of a weld or structural steel component

• Separation or failure of the powder-coated finish caused by improper application

• Failure of the universal device holder under normal use

• Defective mounting hardware or accessories supplied by R&D Designs LLC

• Defects in custom signs or graphics present at the time of delivery

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Improper installation, assembly, anchoring, placement, transportation, or storage

• Failure to follow installation, use, or safety instructions

• Modifications, alterations, welding, drilling, repairs, or refinishing not authorized by R&D Designs LLC

• Misuse, abuse, negligence, vandalism, theft, collision, impact, or intentional damage

• Severe weather, high winds, flooding, fire, falling objects, natural disasters, or other events beyond normal environmental exposure

• Exposure to road salt, pool chemicals, corrosive substances, industrial chemicals, or harsh cleaning products

• Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches, chips, dents, fading, chalking, discoloration, or surface corrosion resulting from damage to the powder coating

• Failure to promptly repair scratches, chips, or other damage that exposes bare metal

• Use of mounting hardware or accessories not supplied or approved by R&D Designs LLC

• Improperly prepared concrete, pavement, soil, or another mounting surface

• Normal deterioration of printed signs or graphics caused by prolonged sunlight, weather, cleaning, or physical contact

• Commercial removal, reinstallation, labor, concrete work, landscaping, or site restoration

R&D Designs LLC does not warrant or assume responsibility for smartphones, tablets, cameras, personal property, or other devices placed in or used with the Selfie Station.

Customer Responsibilities

The purchaser is responsible for:

• Selecting a safe and appropriate installation location

• Properly installing and securing the Selfie Station

• Following all installation and safety instructions

• Periodically inspecting the stand, device holder, anchors, mounting hardware, wheels, and accessories

• Tightening or replacing loose or damaged hardware as necessary

• Discontinuing use immediately if the Selfie Station becomes loose, unstable, damaged, or unsafe

• Promptly repairing scratches or chips that expose bare steel

• Complying with applicable building codes, property requirements, permits, and local regulations

Portable Selfie Stations must be properly secured when used outdoors and should not be used during severe weather or unsafe wind conditions.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

Please provide:

• Purchaser’s name and contact information

• Original order number or proof of purchase

• Purchase date

• Product model

• A written description of the problem

• Clear photographs or video showing the claimed defect

• Photographs showing how and where the Selfie Station was installed or used

Warranty claims should be submitted promptly after the problem is discovered. R&D Designs LLC may request additional information or an opportunity to inspect the product before approving a claim.

Warranty Remedy

If R&D Designs LLC determines that a product or component contains a covered defect, the company may, at its discretion:

• Repair the defective product or component

• Provide replacement parts

• Replace the product with the same or a comparable product

• Refund the original purchase price of the defective product or component

Replacement products and components may vary slightly in color, appearance, materials, or design due to product improvements and availability.

The repaired or replacement product will remain covered for the balance of the original warranty period. The warranty period does not restart following a repair or replacement.

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, removal, installation, labor, transportation, packaging, and shipping expenses associated with warranty service are the purchaser’s responsibility.

Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this limited warranty is the purchaser’s exclusive warranty and remedy. R&D Designs LLC will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, loss of use, damage to personal devices, business interruption, installation costs, or property damage.

Any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this written warranty to the extent permitted by law.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, certain limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.

Non-Transferable Warranty

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be transferred to another person, business, venue, or property owner unless R&D Designs LLC provides written authorization.

Governing Terms

No employee, representative, reseller, installer, or other party may modify or expand this warranty unless the change is provided in writing and signed by an authorized representative of R&D Designs LLC.
